And now you find yourself in '82...

The disco hotspots hold no charm for you...
You can't concern yourself with bigger things...
You catch the pearl and ride the dragon's wings...

It was the heat of the moment...
Telling me what your heart meant...
The heat of the moment...
Shone in your eyes...

Yeah, it's an awesome song. And I'm back in business, back in California. Time to rock out with the hawk out.

It lives!

Woohoo! My Sansa e250 is ALIVE! I thought it had died about a year ago, before I left for school... but it appears it was just in hibernation or something, because it turned on and synched and eveything. Excellent, now I have a REAL MP3 player again.

Splendid Dreams!

It's here! From the makers of the acclaimed Off-Road Velociraptor Safari comes a new game, still in alpha. It's called Jetpack Brontosaurus: Splendid jetpack dreams of the Apatosaurus named Brontosaurus. And boy, is it cool.
All it is now is flying around inside the dream world of an apatosaurus, controlling him via the large, clunky jetpack he wears. You can land on platforms and do challenges, but right now, the visual aesthetic is the biggest thing it has going for it, as the controls and sound design leave something to be desired. Of course, I STRESS that it is only alpha, and I have no doubt that it will significantly improve before release. For an alpha, it is very good, I think.

It's Mirror's Edge. They just released the first gameplay teaser.

It's PERFECT.

Please, realize that I do not, as a rule, say this kind of thing about games. I never says that a game is 'perfect,' because until today, that game did not exist.
Now it does.
I have never seen a game to so perfectly captures every single thing believe in so well, and integrates it into a package that I cannot help but love. ME has the art direction, the style, the music... everything. And most importantly, it is IMMERSIVE in a way that I have never before seen in a game-- you feel like it's YOU in Faith's head, helping her through her job every second of the way. You are a gestalt with her, a team that is going to make a difference... and boy, doe she need the help.

Ok, enough drooling, back to to work. But you owe it to yourself to watch the trailer.
